The 2023 Minnesota Harness Racing divisional award winners have been announced ahead of the MHRI Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet. The celebration of the 2023 season will take place on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Running Aces Casino Hotel and Racetrack in Columbus.
Silent Crossing came from off the pace to score in 1:52 in the $17,000 feature on Friday night at The Meadowlands, a non-winners of $12,500 for fillies and mares on the pace.
Stuckey Dote has been a top-level competitor at Running Aces for many years and he will be hanging up his racing shoes after Friday night (Sept. 15), where he has been tabbed as the 7-2 second choice on the early line in the $15,000 Minnesota-sired consolation for older male pacers.
