Authorities seek the public’s help after a racial slur was found faintly etched into the outside of a window at a Massachusetts elementary school Thursday, according to police.
The slur was reported to Sharon Police Officer Michael Hocking, the town’s school resource officer, after it was found on the outside window at the rear entrance to the Cottage Street School, authorities said.
There are no surveillance cameras in the area, but authorities believe the slur was etched into the window at the elementary school between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday, according to a Facebook post from the Sharon Police Department on Friday.
