thank you so much for being with us. relatives and loved once of 9/11 victims will gather today to mark the 15th anniversary of the terror attacks. organizers have planned music and readings to mark the anniversary at ground zero. president barack obama will speak at the pentagon later. hundreds of people are also expected at a ceremony at the shanksville. the 9/11 terrorist attack killed nearly 3,000 people on that day and destroyed the lives of many more since then. jay gray is near ground zero in new york city where memorial services will start late they are morning. debris falling from the tower. pitch blackout side because the smoke blocked out the sunlight. reporter: 15 years people started screaming and running and saying, run for and so we started to run and run. and what was happening is the tower was collapsing. reporter: the memories and images have yet to fade, nor has the resolve. literally out of the ashes we have rebuilt stronger and taller. repor
