Mayor Michael Hancocks plan will use property taxes and Development Fees to raise the money over the next ten years. This will be denvers first ever dedicated fund for Affordable Housing and aims to preserve or create 6thousand incomequalified units. The Council Approved the plan with a nine to four vote and called it a step in the right direction. After the ten years are up the city will review the plan.
