Alyssa Forster was charged with second-degree manslaughter while intoxicated, driving while under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain minimal insurance. She was released on a court-set $35,000 bond. Sgt. Stanley Zajac, of the department’s Accident Reconstruction Unit, said the charges stemmed from a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on North Broad Street on Aug. 20, 2020 around 12:30 a.m.

She turned herself in to police on Friday and was also charged with second-degree manslaughter while intoxicated, driving while under the influence of alcohol and failure to maintain minimal insurance.  Police responded to the area of 2121 N. Broad St. on Aug. 23, 2020 around 12:37 a.m. for a report of a crash, according to police.
