Reporter how quickly things change, just a few months ago county supervisors were optimistic about a potential sale of chase field to private investors in order to renovate the 18yearold ballpark, but now those investors are backing out of the deal and pointing the blame directly at the diamondbacks. In county board of supervisors, they called the teams 117 million estimate greatly exaggerated, and they say on numerous occasions the diamondbacks refused to meet with them. The team responded late tonight saying they are offended at the notion that they are being uncooperative in the process and that the group wasnt being forthcoming about basic information regarding the sale.
