The five Ulrich siblings hold the record for most CEC grads in one family
Long before the four Jacob siblings discovered Miami’s College of Engineering and Computing, another family made their mark in the 1970s and early 1980s.  
“It is rare for a family to have four or more siblings attend one college earning a technical degree,” said Clark Kelly, CEC’s assistant dean of external relations and communications.  
Kelly dug into the alumni database and found five graduates from one family, the Ulriches. ....

Miami University, Ohio Gets $600K State Grant for STEM
The grant from the Ohio Department of Higher Education will help Miami’s College of Engineering and Computing recruit more than a dozen Ohio students per year studying robotics, manufacturing or automation.

(TNS) Miami University’s STEM programs just got a $600,000 boost thanks to a state grant designed to encourage more in-state students to pursue science-related careers.
The science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Ohio grant from the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) will help Miami’s College of Engineering and Computing recruit and support more than a dozen Ohio students per year studying robotics, manufacturing or automation, said school officials. ....
