Two Auckland eateries have been recognised among the top 20 fine-dining restaurants in the world. The Grove in St Patricks Square was ranked the no 1 fine-dining restaurant in New Zealand, and 15th in the world, on TripAdvisor’s 2021 Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best” Restaurants list, based on traveller reviews and ratings.

The Grove in Auckland has once again made TripAdvisor s list of the best fine-dining restaurants in the world. Opened by Michael and Annette Dearth in 2004, The Grove offers modern New Zealand food in the form of degustation dining. The restaurant has received multiple accolades and played host to some of New Zealand’s top chefs over the years, such as Sid Sahrawat and Ben Bayly.

And now two Auckland restaurants have been named among the top 20 fine dining establishments in the world, sitting alongside Michelin star offerings across the globe.
The list was compiled from traveller reviews and ratings placed on the travel website TripAdvisor.
Both the Grove, and Sails Restaurant have nabbed coveted spots in the top 20, with The Grove ranking number 1 across the nation, and 15th in the world on TripAdvisor s 2021 Travellers Choice Best of the Best Restaurants list.
