Is offensive or they re saying that the image of it is political and they don t want the super bowl commercials to be political? i ve certainly seen some racy stuff on super bowl ads that is more troubling and offensive to many minds, i would think, than a border wall. agreed. and that s one thing that makes it so interesting this year. i talked to several ad creators and they describe the situation where they ve suddenly felt like the world sort of tipped on them and everything that a few months ago might not have been seen as political is now being looked at through a very political lens. one of the ads that will be on the super bowl on sunday advertises mexican avocados, and in any other landscape that would seem like a very innocuous sweet ad. all of a sudden at the end of the ad it says made in mexico. and it makes you think. great story in the paper today. in national news, the master of escape better known as elle chap ....
This is something he can do without congressional approval. there are various ways to make mexico pay for the wall that mexico can t control. that would be one of them. what will mexico do about it? if this is what happens, do they respond in kind? can they afford to do so? what does mexico do if he ll build a wall and put a tariff on and mexico pays for it? it seems trump wants to declare martial war and if that s the case, americans better be ready to pay thousands of dollars more for their cars, tvs, dishwashers, for the super bowl. mexican avocados will be incredibly expensive. i don t remember going back to history since mexican-american war in 1848 that this s been so much tension as the what we re seeing now and it s completely unnecessary. again, mexico is not a u.s. enemy. immigrants are not the enemy. the wall won t work. and i wonder why donald trump is doing exactly this. i really can t understand it. jorge, thank you. i really appreciate your time. ....
