People are spending time dressing up their homes for the holidays, but people are also dressing down our roads. As I went down Mertie Road this morning, someone had dumped a sofa and a couple of older TVs on the side of the road â almost in the road. There are a lot of places on this road that people feel is their private dump. Recently someone dumped an appliance over the side of the road. At another spot, there were several bags of trash.
How can anyone be so disrespectful? You donât own this land and it would not matter if you did. It is littering, pure and simple, and for heaven sake take your fast food bags and cups home with you. I wonder how nasty a personâs home is if they treat other peopleâs property in such a way. Clean up after yourself. Were you not taught that by your mama?
