Reopening of  P'ment, DUN boost people's confidence to get vaccinated  | Daily Express Online

Merotai Assemblyman, Sarifuddin Hata (pic) said the reopening of the Parliament and State Legislative Assembly, especially since almost all elected representatives have received two doses of the vaccine, will give confidence to the people to also take the vaccine for their own safety. 
He said almost all civil servant frontliners working in Parliament or State Legislative Assembly have also been vaccinated so there is no reason for the government to continue to avoid sitting to ensure the management of the Covid-19 pandemic can be discussed. 
While citing the statement by Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin who wanted to wait until group immunity can be achieved before Parliament and the State Assembly can be convened, Sarifuddin said it seems that the government is giving the impression of not being confident in the use of the vaccines.

Kota Kinabalu: Warisan’s Merotai Assemblyman, Sarifuddin Hata
(pic), reiterated the sales tax revenue on petroleum products which will forever be enjoyed by the people of Sabah is a legacy of the Warisan Plus administration led by Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.

Starting next year, Sabah will receive sales tax revenue of RM1.25 billion.
“Although Warisan Plus’ administration was only for two years, Shafie succeeded in demanding the rights of the people of Sabah that can be used to develop the State for generations to come,” he said in a statement,  Saturday.
He said during the tabling of the 2021 State Budget, the current Chief Minister stated that the revenue is worth RM1.25 billion, and this is what Shafie has been fighting for since taking over the government.  ....
