Legoland New York to welcome guests for preview period this month

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Legoland New York Resort announced it will officially open for previews starting May 29 welcoming devoted fans to the epic 150-acre theme park.
Legoland New York Resort will be the first major theme park to open in the Northeast in over 40 years, and it’s located in Goshen, N.Y. just 60 miles north of New York City.
But when it opens, it will be the largest Legoland Park ever developed by Merlin Entertainment. It will be home to seven-themed lands and more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions for families with children ages 2 through 12, as well as a 250-room Legoland Hotel.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Legoland New York Resort has released a behind-the-scenes look at four of the park’s themed lands Brick Street, Bricktopia, Lego Castle and Lego Ninjago World before its grand opening this summer.
In the video, viewers get a sneak peek of some of the rides and attractions you can expect to see while visiting the epic 150-acre theme park.

A spokeswoman says the theme park will “open in phases,” gradually allowing more people to access the full array of activities as time goes on.
What can guests expect inside the hotel at Legoland New York?

The 250-room hotel is specially designed for families, with imaginative Lego features and themed play areas everywhere you turn located adjacent to the theme park.
A specific opening date will be announced in the coming months.
Hotel guests will be able to enjoy free breakfast daily, kid-friendly entertainment, a heated resort-style pool, and in-room scavenger hunts with Lego prizes every day. Each room will include a separate kid sleeping area, and guests can choose from one of four themes pirate, kingdom, Lego Friends, or Lego Ninjago.
