MGWS gains landmark web press deals Jo Francis Tuesday, December 15, 2020 Manroland Goss Web Systems (MGWS) has scooped two major continental web press orders, including the first installation of its Varioman c:line web for cardboard food packaging. Varioman web is also available in flexible packaging and book configurations The Varioman c:line will be installed at a greenfield site in Germany for a new operation that is currently operating as ‘Project Rosa’. The highly-specified press will be used to print frozen food packaging and is expected to be ready for production at the end of next year. The Varioman c:line can print at up to 400 metres per minute, the equivalent of more than 2,500 pizza boxes every 60 seconds. ....
