Daily activities have currently taken a good shape at Ejura in the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipality of the Ashanti Region after the deadly violence by the youth protesting the death of one social media activist, Ibrahim Mohammed.
The protest turned violent as the agitated youth and the security made up of the police and military clashed claiming two lives and injuring four others.
The dead were buried on the same day per the doctrines of the Muslim Religion whereas the four injured were transferred to the hospital for medical attention.

The Ashanti Region Police Command has arrested a member of the robbery gang suspected to have attacked and killed an ambulance driver at Asesewa near Koforidua have been arrested.
Martin Teye was arrested among five suspects who robbed a bullion van at Asokwa Junction in the Adansi Fomena District in January 2021.
The robbers in the attack also murdered the police officer escorting the van, making away with an amount to the tune of ₵500, 000.
Updating the press on the bullion van attack, the Regional Police Commander, COP Akwasi Mensah Duku noted that although the investigation indicates that 10 persons were involved in the act, five are in custody and assisting the police with further investigations.

As part of his plans to strengthen and improve security within the Bantama constituency, Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, donated two 4x4 Nissan pickups to the Bohyen and Suntreso police district command on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
The gesture, he reiterated, will help reduce the crime rate in the constituency and further ensure the peace and security of all constituents are guaranteed.
Hon. Asenso-Boakye also tasked the constituents to make the police their friend and assist them with any relevant information, as and when it is needed.
He said, “ensuring safety in the constituency is a collective responsibility of both residents and the police. I, therefore, urge all of us to give them the needed support in discharging their duties”.
