Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Al-Zahar asked whether the “Neo-Arab-Zionist” regimes ask themselves about the reasons for the Holocaust. He made these remarks on Al-Etejah TV (Iraq) on April 10, 2021 in response to a Holocaust memorial event held in the UAE earlier in the month. Al-Zahar suggested that the “people who burned the Jews” have done so because the Jews in those countries “took over the economy and politics and exploited the resources of these peoples for their own benefit.” He said that the Holocaust was not an “extraordinary” case, because all European countries deported the Jews and killed them, because they spread corruption, controlled their money, and collaborated with the enemy. ....
