ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) The Rochester Black Young Professionals are getting together on Saturday to host a community food drive to help those in need.
The drive will take place at four different locations around Rochester and will go from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The four locations that donations will be excepted include:
Brighton Food Cupboard: 220 Idlewood Road, Rochester
Cameron Community Ministries: 48 Cameron Street, Rochester
First Genesis Baptist Church: 292 Hudson Ave, Rochester
Memorial Ame Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street, Rochester
Organizers will be accepting all non-perishable food items. Some suggested donations include canned goods (meat, fish, vegetables), box starches (rice, potatoes), peanut butter, jelly, tomato sauce, cereal, juice, and powdered milk.
