Police said officers were first called to Helston at 8.45pm yesterday, following reports of a missing teenager.
Porthleven Coastguard Team said it was then paged just after 9.30pm to help look for a high risk missing person between Porthleven Pier and Loe Bar.
Members of Mullion Coastguard Rescue Team were also called out to help, along with Penlee Lifeboat to search from the water.
Porthleven Coastguard sent out three search teams to search from the pier to the beach at Loe Bar, while the Mullion volunteers formed two teams to look a little further along the coast, in the Fishing Cove area of Gunwalloe – one team on the beach and the other on the coastal path. ....
