Greens/EFA priorities for the plenary week included the EU taxonomy, abortion rights, the Digital Services Act and Digital Market Act, national vetoes to undermine Global Tax Deal and Windfall Tax, Sustainable flights (REFuel), the 2021 Commission report on Kosovo and the intersectionality report.
The European Parliament has voted in favour of the Digital Markets Act, which will regulate digital platforms acting as gatekeepers, enable more market fairness for businesses, and end-users, and improve data protection.
Greens/EFA priorities for the plenary week included measures for the external border with Belarus, the Digital Markets Act, the situation at the Ukrainian border and in Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine, combating gender-based violence: cyberviolence, sexual and reproductive health rights in Poland, an EU ban on the use of wild animals in circuses, oral question - MeToo and harassment.
