The Park City Police Department in late April stopped drivers for a variety of suspected offenses, as traffic patrols continued through the spring offseason.
The Park City Police Department last week received a report of a mountain lion sighting in a heavily developed area of the community. The police were told a person monitoring a camera, apparently part of a surveillance system, saw a mountain lion on Echo Spur in the footage.
A deer carcass was found with a puncture wound in Park City, prompting an investigation into what killed the animal. A bullet, an arrow or an unspecified form of projectile could have caused the puncture wound, the police said.
