A preliminary hearing for a Schellsburg man accused of shooting at a group of activists, striking one man with birdshot, last year has been continued until next month, while police are still attempting to make contact with the other man who allegedly exchanged gunfire. The preliminary hearing for Terry L. Myers, 51, of Schellsburg, was continued from May 26 to June 9, according to online court dockets. Myers is facing a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault and dozens of misdemeanors for allegedly firing a shotgun at a crowd of activists marching from Milwaukee to Washington D.C. last August after the group had stopped in a parking lot on his fatherâs property along Route 30 in Juniata Township. ....
