FALMOUTH – Barbara P. Wood, 96, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 with her daughter by her side. She was born on May 8, 1924 in St. Johnsbury, Vt. to Glenn E. and Ann B. Perry. She was married to Albert L. Wood for 37 years until his death in 1995.
She served in the Waves from October 1944 to July 1946 being discharged as a Storekeeper First Class. Following her graduation from the University of Vermont in 1950 she worked as a secretary for the Luther Gulick Camps in Raymond and for Mobil Oil Corporation in South Portland until her marriage in 1957. ....
