July 21, 2021 388 WATERBURY – Marianne Louise (Cavalieri) Fusco, age 61, of Waterbury, went home to be with the Lord on July 19, 2021, after a courageous fight against COVID-19 at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Salvatore Fusco Jr. Marianne was born Aug. 6, 1959, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Fortunato) Cavalieri. She was a graduate of Watertown High School, class of 1977. Prior to her retirement, Marianne was employed as a clerk at the Waterbury post office, where she worked for over 22 years. She was a devout child of God who loved the Lord, and was an active member of Waterbury Christian Fellowship. Her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren, her “chicky choos,” as well as her love for Jesus and spreading His love to all that she came in contact with. Anyone who knew Marianne or had the pleasure of meeting her instantly felt her infectious spirit. H ....
