Unity special town meeting features library funding, fire department ordinance
The special town meeting is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Unity Fire Station after the town earlier split up its annual business meeting because of the pandemic.

UNITY A request by the founders of the new Unity Public Library to appropriate $50,000 from tax increment financing funds is among the key items on the 19-article warrant of a special town meeting slated for this weekend.
The special meeting is scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Unity Fire Station. There’s also a public hearing Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Unity Snowdusters Clubhouse. This is the town’s second town meeting of 2021, split up for coronavirus pandemic safety.

UNITY As Melissa Bastien and Jean Bourg work to bring the Unity Public Library to life, they’re deep in the process of outfitting its proposed property with all of the library furnishings necessary to its operation.
