Wanted man killed after resisting arrest, his brothers nabbed in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – The third most wanted person of Toboso in Negros Occidental was killed in a police operation in Barangay Alangilan here while his two brothers were arrested in Barangay Granada on Tuesday.

Lt. Melchor Tolentino, head of Police Station 5, identified the fatality as Jumar Marcelino.
Tolentino said the three brothers were hiding at their relative’s house in Barangay Granada for about four months now.
Tolentino said policemen were supposed to serve an arrest warrant for murder against Marcelino when he allegedly attacked one of the policemen with a bolo, prompting the latter to shoot him. ....
