JASON: MELBOURNE POLICE HAVE ACCUSED A MAN OF TAKING A DIAPER-CLAD BABY INTO A PUBLIC RESTROOM, AND THEN INJECTING HIMSELF WITH HEROIN TO THE POINT OF HELPLESSNESS. POLICE SAY THEY FOUND 34-YEAR-OLD PAUL ROGERS SLUMPED OVER IN A BATHROOM STALL AT THE MELBOURNE PUBLIC LIBRARY. THEY WERE CALLED THERE BECAUSE THE BABY HE HAD WITH HIM WAS SCREAMING. A POLICE REPORT SAYS AN OFFICE FOUND HEROIN AND A SYRINGE WITH ROGERS. HE INJECTED THE HEROIN WHILE IN THE BATHROOM, AND AS A RESULT WAS UNABLE TO LOOK AFTER THE BABY. HE’S CHARGED WITH CHILD NEG ....
