diesel supplies are at a very low level. right around a 25-day supply compared to our 40-day supply in reserve. they re concerned about meeting customer demand. the top concern is availability of product. years ago when we had a shortage of supply on the east coast here where most of the heating oil is used they would bring it in from europe. but now europe is using it all for their own use because of the gas shutdowns from russia. and now we don t have that ability to export from or import from europe to here. here is the thing. even if you don t use home heating oil expect costs to go up as the temperature drops. natural grade that services massachusetts and part of new york have been approved for a 64% increase in electricity costs for that winter. that higher cost goes into effect today.

Retail sales numbers for Q3 and Q4 2020 prove that customers are willing to spend both on line and in stores but their expectations for the shopping experience have changed.
