WEF names Dalal Iriqat as Young Global Leader RAMALLAH, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 (WAFA) – The World Economic Forum today named Dalal Iriqat as a Young Global Leader. Iriqat, the daughter of the late chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, was named as one of the WEF’s 112 most promising Young Global Leaders under the age of 40, involved in activities ranging from advocating for public healthcare to campaigning for inclusivity in medical research. Iriqat is assistant professor and the vice president of international relations at the Arab American University in Palestine. She is a weekly columnist at Al-Quds Newspaper since 2016.
