As the days go on, Haldimand-Norfolk’s Medical Officer Of Health expects to see the full scale of what the holiday break means for our regions COVID-19 numbers.
To start of January, we have seen a sharp increase in COVID-19 cases with 53 positive cases linked to January in the first 5 days of the month.
With many of these gatherings there is likely one similar trait, people gathered around for a meal.
Moving forward, the doctor says he understands that people are getting tired of the public health rules, but dining events with people from outside of your own household especially need to be put on the back burner for sometime ....
