IMD has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Himachal Pradesh predicting moderate to heavy rainfall amid threats of flash flood and landslide that has ravaged the hill state.
The northeast, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar are expected to see heavy to extremely heavy rainfall periods during the next 3 days, according to IMD. The following two days are expected to bring sporadic heavy rainfall to Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East UP, Jharkhand and Odisha.
