Woman shot in Lake in the Hills   A woman was shot in Lake in the Hills on Friday, police said. Police responded about 9 p.m. to the 1300 block of Cunat Court after reports of an unknown medical issue, according to a news release from the Lake in the Hills Police Department. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been shot, police said.   She was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, police said. The McHenry County Major Crimes Task Force was contacted to assist with the investigation and extra police presence will continue in the area, police said.
