Kentucky gets first four regional COVID-19 vaccination sites

 regional drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination sites on Thursday.  The sites, first mentioned Jan. 14, will prioritize Kentuckians age 70 and older. But everyone in the first two vaccinations tiers 1A and 1B is eligible, which mostly includes health care workers, long-term care residents and workers, and school employees.  More regional sites will be announced on the next two Thursdays, Beshear said,  as the state looks to expand infrastructure and set the stage for mass vaccinations. So far, the state has administered 362,924 doses.   The first four regional drive-thru sites are: A Kroger-run site at the Kentucky Horse Park in the Alltech Arena, 4089 Ironworks Parkway in Lexington. It opens at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Appointments are required and can be scheduled at Kroger.com/COVIDVaccine or by calling 866-211-5320.
