The village of Sherman is moving ahead with plans for summertime events, vowing that the pandemic will not prevent outdoor community gatherings.
Sherman Mayor Trevor Clatfelter says the community plans to hold its July Fourth fireworks display again this year… and has also scheduled outdoor concerts at the community amphitheater by Van Halen and Def Leppard tribute bands in July.
It’s still not known if masks will be required. Clatfelter says the events, quote, “won’t be the Wild West, but it’s also not going to be Lockdown Central, either.”
