A man and woman in their 20s were safely taken into custody after refusing to surrender to law enforcement throughout the morning and early afternoon, according to Lt. Kevin Fair, a spokesman for the Atlantic City Police Department. At 7:37 a.m., patrol officers were called to the 100-north block of Georgia Avenue to assist U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force members in making a pair of arrests, Fair said. WARWICK - Two suspects in an ongoing firearms investigation remained on the loose Friday, after spurring a police chase from Delaware into Warwick - where scores of residents were placed on lockdown amid a manhunt that lasted approximately six hours and involved several departments and numerous officers, according to the Cecil County Sheriff s Office. Dover (Del.) Police Department officials contacted the CCSO at 5:48 p.m. on Thursday and advised that law enforcement officers in that area were looking for two fugitives - Rahiem Jackson, 23; and Maya Hairston, 24, both of Dover - after they had fled from federal agents in that town earlier that day, reported CCSO Chief Deputy Gerald K. Just before 6:00 Thursday evening Delaware authorities began pursuing two subjects wanted out of Dover. Police began the chase began when an officer attempted to stop a white BMW 328 with Delaware Registration 457987. Shortly after the chase began Dover Police issued a statement saying that they were seeking Rahiem Jackson, 23, and Maya Hairston, 24 and that the vehicle likely had significant front-end damage. Shortly after the chase began police lost sight of the vehicle. Several minutes later the vehicle was located near Joe Meltz Road in Warwick, Maryland. Reports indicate that the vehicle involved in the chase is the vehicle Dover Police were searching for. ....
