Coming off its best season of harness racing last year with an impressive 40 per cent increase in total handle wagering over 2022, Hippodrome 3R (3R) in Quebec is ready to kick off the 2024 season on Sunday, May 5.
A record 210 attendees celebrated the 2023 Quebec harness racing season at the annual Champions Gala this past Saturday evening, April 6 at Hippodrome 3R.
Badlands Bay kicked off the Hippodrome 3R harness racing program on Friday, Sept. 8 with a bang as the 19-1 longshot was able to upset the field in the very first race pace.
The third and final preliminary round of the Québec-Bred Series for pacers four-years-old and up, will take place on Sunday (July 2) at Hippodrome 3R after unacceptable air quality last Sunday forced the cancellation of the original planned date for the event.
