BLOG: Kurashev, Switzerland Fall to Sweden on Day Five of Worlds

Lone Blackhawk in action loses first game of the tournament with Switzerland by Carter Baum @CarterBaum / Blackhawks.com Just one Blackhawk was in action on Tuesday at the IIHF World Championship, and it was a forgettable outing for the Swiss side against Sweden.  KURASHEV, SWITZERLAND FALL 7-0 A winless Sweden side upset a previously undefeated Switzerland team on Tuesday, 7-0, in what was the most lopsided loss of the tournament thus far.  Philipp Kurashev skated 13:25 of ice time in the loss and was a -1 rating with two shots on goal.  The Swiss will have Wednesday off before looking to get back on the right foot on Thursday against Slovakia, who now lead Group A with a 3-0-0 record.
