The mayor has proposed a partial remedy, by reducing the step adjustment cuts by 84,000 dollars. Posttraumatic stress was activated in the early 90s, and she attended a Community Clinic for over a decade. She was a known patient at this facility. And a volunteer. And she had a psychotic episode at this Mental Health facility down in southern california, and the emergency dispatch called this place from the clinic to the local station where two officers were dispatched. And this is an agency that does not have a formal Crisis Intervention Training Program or any sort of Training Program that deploy deputies that are specifically trained to approach a situation with known or with individuals who have known mental conditions.
