With a student body that is 48% Latino/Hispanic, 22% African-American, 18% Filipino-American, 16% Multi-ethnic and 2% other ethnicities, Mission Dolores Academy’s Heritage Day has been a long-standing, schoolwide celebration.
Timed in November just ahead of the Thanksgiving holidays, the much anticipated tradition has always included a multicultural luncheon featuring homemade cuisine from different continents and study about other cultures. ....
