Roker Riches: Who are the lads backing this weekend?

Welcome to this week’s edition of Roker Riches. The euphoria has certainly taken a step back in the last week or so. After the very acceptable 4 point haul over Easter weekend, we have then gone on to take zero points from six against Charlton and Wigan. Will the dip in our form convince our betting marras to put their coins elsewhere? Let’s see what they think for yet another cup final weekend. The Rolling Table: Season 2020-2021 Yellow card update. Two yellow cards this week, for Matthew and Danny. Matthew almost managed a red but got his bets in before the officials got the card in the air, which is a good job given he only has £18 left to play with.

Roker Riches Sunderland inspired tips from the Roker Report team

Welcome back to another February edition of Roker Riches to all our readers, followers and friends around the world. Our only winners last weekend were Malc and Matty. Matty made a total profit of £2.50 after a £12.50 win, and Malc picked up a tasty £70 when his accumulator came in for all but his last match, which was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch (Forest Green at Mansfield). But what are the Riches punters backing for this weekend’s key game against Doncaster Rovers, a team above us, and comparatively flying? Let’s take a look. The Rolling Table: Season 2020-2021 Yellow card update.

Roker Riches Wk 14: Sunderland inspired tips from the Roker Report team

Well, here we are for another week of Roker Riches action. Two league games, and two very different performances (and results) in a week, to say the least. How Sunderland is that?! Sadly, it is all too typical that we can have two semi-convincing run-outs, scoring five goals and keeping two clean sheets, only to lose at home to a team that haven’t won away for about a year. In the process we have seen the emergence of O’Brien as an attacking outlet and assist provider; we have lost Gooch due to an asymptomatic Covid diagnosis; we have lost Willis (again) due to his knee issue re occurring in an innocuous looking slide tackle, and we have seen our highest scoring striker go from hero to zero, with an away hat-trick being followed by one of his dullest performances for some time.
