The man the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office claims tried to kidnap a barista from a north Auburn coffee stand early on Monday morning, Jan. 16, pleaded not guilty to the charge in King County Superior Court in Kent Thursday morning, Jan. 26.
The King County Prosecuting Attorneys’ Office on Thursday afternoon formally charged an Auburn man with second-degree attempted kidnapping , three days after he allegedly tried to yank a woman through the drive-thru window at Beankini Espresso in north Auburn where she was working early on Monday morning, Jan. 16.
