A DISQUALIFIED driver who refused to provide a breath sample, both at the roadside and at the police station, has been sentenced. Matthew Rawson, 34, of Britannia Way, East Cowes, appeared before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He admitted driving while disqualified, using a car without insurance, and driving without due care and attention. He also admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis. Prosecutor, Ann Smout, said on December 18, police had been on patrol in Newport when their attention was drawn to a black Nissan. She said the driver, Rawson, had pulled across Medina Way in front of the unmarked police vehicle. ....
