On Valentine’s Day, the Native and Indigenous Student Association at Yale hosted a vigil at the Women’s Table on Cross Campus to remember the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women and relatives. The vigil featured speakers and a community dinner hosted by the Native American Cultural Center.
This fall, there are eight courses being offered in Native American and Indigenous studies, spanning six departments and with 101 students currently enrolled.
In the 10 years since it moved into its own home on High Street, the NACC has provided a space, and a community, for Yale’s Native and Indigenous students.
