major damage. investigators are trying to determine what caused a two-car crash in prince george s county involving four children. two cars collided on sea pleasant and joplin street last night. when rescuers got there, six people were trapped in the cars, including the four children. paramedics took a woman to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and three children had nonlife threatening injuries. drugs were likely behind a police-involved shooting that left a man dead. the incident started with a car jacking on new hampshire avenue and ended with police firing at the man in adelphi. darcy spencer has the latest. reporter: it started here at sunoco gas station ata coma park at 3:45 in the afternoon. a 19-year-old man tries to carjack a man with a porsche. when the victim fought back he stand him with a steak knife. the guy was actually stabbed right there at the pump. and you saw it? the whole thing. police say the victim had been inside the gas s ....
apparently that suspect was involved in an attempted carjacking at a sunoco gas station. we have video of that. that happened earlier this afternoon in the 6900 block of new hampshire avenue in tacoma park. we re told that there was someone there who attempted to car jack a person, who had a porsche there at the gas station. and a witness told us that he saw the whole thing. let s listen to what that witness had to say. what happened? i saw pretty much everything. reporter: it was a stabbing? it was an attempted carjacking. the guy was actually stand at the pump. reporter: awe you saw it? the whole thing. reporter: was it the person in the porsche who got car jacked? yes. reporter: and was he stabbed? yes. reporter: so that was a witness to the actual attempted carjacking that happened at the sunoco gas station in the 6900 block of new hampshire avenue. from what we ve been able to piece together from witnesses, and from other sources, it was from th ....
