The 2021 winter season has come to the close in the blink of an eye, and with the dust starting to settle, let’s take a quick look back on how this season, one like no other, played out.
With no postseason tournaments, there was no definitive champion, though Friday’s matchup between Pioneer and Mahar was a battle for the top boys record in the Franklin County League.

Through its first five games of the season, the Mahar boys basketball team has had its fair share of close finishes.Two of those contests involving game-winning shots in the final 15 seconds.Against Pioneer on Feb. 3, the Senators found themselves.
