Matt Hancock appeared on BBC Breakfast this morning to discuss Boris Johnson s roadmap announcement last night. According to the latest travel advice from the Government: Self-contained accommodation, such as holiday lets, where indoor facilities are not shared with other households, can also reopen in Step Two, no earlier than April 12. The rest of the accommodation sector, can reopen in Step Three, no earlier than 17 May.

Mr Hancock used the opportunity to give praise to Ms Abbott.
He said: “I don’t say this lightly, but I agree with every single word that the right honourable lady said and I want to pay tribute to her.
“Because I haven’t had the chance in the house to thank all members of the house who took part in the incredibly moving video from black MPs in order to persuade people who may have understandable concerns that taking the jab is the right thing to do.

Hancock continued: The reason it s important to get this set up now is that the proportion of cases coming from abroad at the moment is obviously very low, not least because it is currently illegal to go on holiday anyway.
