Man booked for extortion
Moneylender, accomplice allegedly harassed developer who took ₹30L.
Khadak police on Friday booked a moneylender and his accomplice in a case of extortion. The accused in the case were
Nilesh Deshpande, a moneylender and
Shashikant Golande, who owns a building materials supply business. Aniruddha Patwardhan, a resident of
Sadashiv Peth, lodged the complaint.
Patwardhan, a 35-year-old developer and owner of Matrru Infrastructure and Patsons Avairies, told police he was harassed, threatened and extorted by the moneylender.
