A team of students from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology will soon be heading to New York City with the hopes of winning $20,000 for their work in an international math competition.
Team from York Community High School will win a portion of $100,000 in scholarships in MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge
For 14 straight hours in early March, a small group of York Community High.
We first told you about the five St. John's High School students in an only on Fox report last week. At that time, the team was one of the top 16 teams in the nation.
St. John's School students participate in the MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge, spending 14 hours working on a real-world question about the predicted growth of E-bike use and its impact on society. Despite tensions running high, the team is one of the top 16 teams in the nation and will compete in the finals in New York.
