Sindri: Keeping the increasing number of active cases in view, the Dhanbad administration has directed all private hospitals in the district to reserve 70% of their total beds for Covid-19 patients.
Dhanbad deputy commissioner Uma Shankar Singh said 21 private hospitals in the district have been given permission for treatment of Covid-19 patients.
“Since the number of patients is increasing each day, the private hospitals have been asked to share details of their beds and other infrastructural facilities with the Covid control room by Saturday evening and reserve 70% of their beds so that Covid patients can be referred to them from Sunday onwards,” Singh said.
