Crews are working to remove massive amounts of mud, and the roadway could stay closed until monday. California Air National Guard members from Silicon Valley are in Santa Barbara helping with search and rescue efforts. They shared these pictures taken from their hawk helicopter, the pave hawk helicopter, the 129th rescue wing arrived in Santa Barbara yesterday. Help is also on the way from Mather Air Force near sacramento. The california National Guard released this video of aviators getting gear together to fly down to Southern California as quickly as they can.
