January 26, 2021 marks India s 72nd Republic Day, the day our constitution came into effect in 1950. While it may fill one with a sense of pride, and watching the parade on the television is how many Indians would begin this day; we decided to approach the most renowned photographers in the country. Raghu Rai
Raghu Rai started photography by chance in 1965, at the age of 23. It is his ability to capture moments juxtaposed against iconic backdrops that make his work popular all across the globe. In 1972, Rai was honoured with the Padmashree the first ever to be awarded to a photographer. His works have been presented in Europe, America and Asia; these have also won him several international accolades Officer des Arts et des Letters by the French Government ....
