The Australian Ambassador to Greece, His Excellency, Arthur Spyrou, is a senior career officer with Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and has been serving as Australia’s Ambassador to Greece, Bulgaria and Romania since December 2019.
Prior to this he held various high profile roles, including a posting as Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates just prior to this role.  A career diplomat, he holds a Master of Arts (Foreign Affairs and Trade) from Monash University; Bachelor of Laws, Sydney University/Utrecht University; and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Sydney University.
